How to get a website for your business this week

Gather your name, services, area, photos and contact details, then pick a route that is fast enough. Agencies usually take weeks. A DIY builder takes as long as your evenings allow. Our builder makes the site in about 20 minutes from a sentence or your Google listing, and it goes live on your own domain within 48 hours.

What do I need before I start?

Less than you think. A site that wins calls needs a short, specific set of things, and most of them already exist somewhere:

  • Your business name, and the name of the domain you would like (or one you already own).
  • What you do, in one sentence a customer would understand.
  • Where you work: your address if customers visit, or the towns and neighbourhoods you cover.
  • How people should reach you: a booking link, an email, or the number you want on the site.
  • Real photos of your work, your place or your team. Phone photos are fine if they are sharp.
  • Your prices, or at least where they start.

If you have a Google Business Profile, most of this is already on it. That matters for speed, as you will see below.

Which routes are fast enough for this week?

A design agency is almost never a this-week option. Discovery, design rounds and build usually run for weeks, and that is fine for a large project but not for a business that needs to look real by Friday.

A DIY builder can be fast if you already know the tool and have the evenings free. Expect a day or two of focused work to get a decent template filled in, plus the domain setup.

An AI builder can produce something in minutes, then needs checking, fixing and publishing by you.

A built-for-you service is the fastest finished route, because the building and the checking are not on your calendar. Ours builds the site in about 20 minutes and puts it live on your domain within 48 hours of you choosing a plan.

What does a realistic week look like?

Here is the week we would plan, using our builder:

  • Monday: describe your business in a sentence, or attach your Google listing, at the start page. Add a note for the designer if there is something to lead with. The build takes about 20 minutes and lands in your inbox.
  • Tuesday: look at it properly, on your phone. Reply with anything that is wrong or missing: a service, a price, a better photo. A designer makes the changes.
  • Wednesday: choose a plan. We register your domain in your name (or connect the one you have) and set up hosting and security.
  • Thursday: it is live, within 48 hours of the plan being chosen. Put the address in your Google Business Profile, your social profiles and your email signature.
  • Friday: ask three happy customers for a Google review. It helps the listing that now points at your site.

How do I make sure a fast site is still a good site?

Speed is only useful if the result does the job. Before you share it, check it against the same list a customer would, on a phone:

  • Does the first screen say what you do and where, without scrolling?
  • Is the way to call or book obvious, and does it work?
  • Are the photos yours, and the prices current?
  • Does it load quickly on mobile data, not just on your office wifi?
  • Would a stranger trust it enough to hand over a job?

Every one of our builds is checked by a designer against that kind of list before you see it, and you can ask for changes by email at any time after. If something is wrong, it gets fixed, not argued about.

What does it cost to go live this week?

Seeing your site costs nothing. Going live costs $99 a month with your domain, hosting and changes included, $990 a year, or $1,499 once to own the site and domain outright. There is no setup fee and no contract on the monthly plan. Every plan is on the pricing page.

What should I avoid when I am in a hurry?

  • Registering the domain in someone else's name. It should be yours; ours are registered in the client's name.
  • A site with no way to contact you above the fold. It is the most common reason a fast site fails.
  • Stock photos of strangers. One real photo of your work beats ten from a library.
  • Signing a long contract to get speed. Fast should not mean locked in.
  • Waiting for perfect. A clear, honest site this week beats a beautiful one in three months.

What if I need more than a standard site?

If you need online payments, an integration with a system you already use, or a large catalogue, a standard site will not cover it this week. Take the fast site now so customers find something real, and talk to the studio about the larger build. Custom work starts at $3,250, scoped and priced before anything is made.

Quick answers

Can I really get a website live in 48 hours?
Yes. The build takes about 20 minutes, and the site goes live on your own domain within 48 hours of you choosing a plan.
Do I need to write the text myself?
No. We write it from your description or your Google listing. You tell us what is wrong and we change it.
What if I already own a domain?
We connect it. If you do not have one, we register it in your name and renew it for you while you subscribe.
